The last few decades were about capturing our attention. The next few are about capturing our choices. As AI makes more of our decisions, what writes the email, designs the brand, picks the candidate, an economy is forming around our choices themselves.

I back founders building toward the other future, the one where AI increases human agency instead of absorbing it. Tools that help people clarify values, protect attention, and make better decisions in lived reality. The bet is that technology can be built to optimize for coherence, the alignment between our choices and what we actually value, rather than for the time we spend.

The writing and the investing are one project. The essays surface the thesis, and the checks back the people building it. My working hypothesis is that consciousness plays a real role in all of this, and I'm following the research as we figure it out together. The defining question of the next century is whether we stay the authors of our own choices. I'm dedicating my work on the side that says we can.
